Dream Big, Think Bigger

What would you dare to dream if you knew God could do more?

Ephesians 3:20 (AMP)

"Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us."

What would you dare to dream if you could ask for anything and know it would happen? Would it be a personal breakthrough, a family restoration, or a world-changing idea? Today, we dive into Ephesians 3:20—a powerful reminder that with God, no dream is too big. Not only does He fulfill our dreams, but He takes them further than we can imagine, according to His power working within us.

 God’s Power in Our Imagination

As a junior high student, I had a teacher, Mr. Johnson, who instilled a thought-provoking truth: “Man’s mind enables him to think and reason.” This simple phrase resonates with Ephesians 3:20 by illustrating how God gave us the ability to dream, plan, and reason. However, the scripture reminds us that human capability alone is not enough—God’s divine power amplifies our efforts beyond what we can ask or imagine.
While our minds can dream big, God’s power enables those dreams to transcend human limitations.

4 Challenges to Expand Your Faith and Dreams

Here are four ways to align your thinking with God’s limitless power and step into a life of greater possibilities:

 1. Limiting Beliefs Challenge – "Break the Chains of 'I Can't'!"
Application: Often, our own limiting beliefs hold us back from reaching our full potential. Challenge yourself to identify and confront the beliefs that restrict your growth. Remember, God’s power within you is greater than any self-imposed boundaries. Step out in faith and believe that God can do far more than you imagine.

“Your limits are small, but His strength is grand,”

  2. Mental Health Challenge – "Mind Over Matter with God’s Power!"
Application: Mental health struggles can make it hard to see beyond our current circumstances, but this challenge is about shifting your mindset. Acknowledge that God’s power within you can help transform your thoughts and emotions. Start by focusing on positive, faith-filled thoughts and seek God’s strength to overcome challenges, knowing that He is capable of far more than you can imagine.

“With Him, there’s healing and the power to heal."

 3. Reasoning Challenge – "Think Beyond Your Logic!"
Application: Human reasoning often leads us to believe that only what we can logically understand is possible. This challenge encourages you to push beyond those limits and trust in God’s ability to do the impossible. When faced with a situation that doesn’t make sense, remind yourself that God operates outside of human logic and can achieve what we can't even conceive. Let faith guide your reasoning!

 4. Impossible Feats Challenge – "God Can When You Can’t!"
Application: We all encounter situations that seem impossible, where we feel helpless or overwhelmed. This challenge encourages you to let go of the need to figure everything out on your own and trust God to handle the impossible. Believe that with His power at work in you, what seems unattainable is within reach. Take a step of faith, and watch God move beyond your expectations.

“With Him, the impossible becomes part of His plans!"
